About Dr. Jim's World

Take a step into my World for the moment...if you so choose. Not that my world may be any different from yours or that my world parallels some TV reality hit show like "The Osbornes'" or "The Hogan's".

The fact that most of my friends choose to call me by names other than what my parents gave me..."Yoga Boy", "Health Nut", "Dr. Natural" or the "Raw Child" or that my own sweet mother has said on more than 1 occasion, "I can't believe that I raised you", gives me the right to have my own corner within the Natural Healing Tools site...I guess.

What makes my life so different or circumstantial to some?

Well, some would say that I am a little anal about what I put in my body, about what I read, my likes and dislikes and the choices that I make for myself.

Guilty or not, one thing for sure is that everything that I do, conventional or not, I do with the intention of creating a more balanced life for myself. Now does this mean that my life is perfect...certainly not!

My world is about constantly examining myself...asking,"who I am", "why am I here" and "Where am I going". The focus is not just on my physical body but on the mental, emotional and spiritual sides as well. To quote Socrates, "An unexamined life is not worth living".

If the things that I do in my life...books I read, foods I eat, meditations I perform, CD's I listen to, movies I watch, retreats or seminars I attend, even the type of bed I sleep on would interest you in any way, then mark this site on your favorites list and read each week about what's going on in Dr. Jim's World.
